I'm replacing a 48"-96" telescoping net that I bought at Walmart about 20 years ago. It was cheap but light and did the job until it got broken on a musky so it died a good death. They no longer carry them. Looking at some similar Frabill's (get the Frabill) but have seen some reviews that they are pretty heavy to handle for netting by yourself. Found one at Jann's that I assume they make but don't know anything about them. Anyone use them or have a suggestion?

A net is something you want to hold in your hands before you buy. I really like Netcraft and their replacement bags are nice. I use a telescoping net on Lake Michigan and it is heavy. The older I get the more I appreciate how much lighter stuff is available if you shop around. But...I bought a light snag resistant net on sale at Fleet and the first nice pike I try to net with it managed to flip out of it leaving the lure stuck in the net. So buyer beware...good luck in your search.

I have never seen their nets but their replacement bags are good.
