Does anyone have any place to get the bigger jigs ( 1 oz + ) for the dropper on these rigs outside of making them. Thanks

Taylor jigs are actually made in a small shop attached to the back of Captain Hooks.

If you're looking for the flatter profile jigs, Taylor Tackle makes some great ones. Ordering procedure is a bit weird (order online and then call to confirm and pay) but I love their jigs. You can find them at a couple tackle shops around, too.

I got some one ounce jigs from Gander Mountain, out of the Northland bins and they work great keeping bait by the bottom. I tapped the plain unpainted one-ouncers to flatten it enough to reduce the profile a bit and they get even deeper. I didn't think a one ounce jig with a twister tail would work well. but I did catch fish on it.
