I am have the hardest time catching pigeons for dog training. I did pretty good getting the dumb ones but now I am left with 40-50 smart birds. They do not eat corn by the trap at all. When I climb up the stone silo they are in they all go to the side opposite the ladder so I cannot get them with the net. If I added an extended handle to the net I could get them in the net but then not back to me to get them out of the net. Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is a lot cheaper to catch the pigeons than the pay for them. Thanks

If you know a farmer, get his permission to climb his silo's. When we were kids, the farmer we worked for had us go to the top of Silo when it was full with a big fishing net. I'm not going to say what he did with them, but we always got a lot of them. He always got upset with all the bird crap on the ladder.

I am not a professional but my suggestions would be..

1. Remove the trap for a few days and feed an alternate food. After you have them coming to the different food re-set the trap and see how it goes.

2. Try and leave 1 pigeon in the trap at all times.
