We primarily fish for bass, walleye and panfish but since we go to Vilas Co each year I think it's time to take advantage of the muskie fishing.
I want to get a net that will allow me to keep the fish in the water while removing the hooks. My biggest obstacle is the size of my boat. It's a 16-foot Alumacraft Classic Deluxe, pictured below.
1 - I know Frabil makes the Big Kahuna Net but I don't know that it will fit in my boat.
2 - I have read mixed reviews of the Frabill Power Stow Fish Net. Sounds like it may address the issue of space in the boat but I have seen complaints abut hooks getting tangled in the net.
I'd love to hear your experiences with large nets for muskie in small boats.
