A group of six of us(southern Illinois)are wanting to do a Canadian fly in trip for primarily Walleye and Northern. There are a ton of websites out there, however we would like to hear from folks who have had a good experience with their vendor. We are looking for any and all advice - we are fairly experienced fisherman, but we want to ensure that this trip is with a solid company that has a quality lake, decent cabin and fly in service. Any and all advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Bundy

North Spirit Lake Lodge.

Bill Nelson is a great host. It is very reasonable as well.

fishing is amazing. Expect to catch 500 walleyes per guy and if you want to go after northerns...there are 40+ fish plus you can catch as many norts as you want each day. there is also a carrying in lake that you can fish lake trout on as well.

Chimo Lodge out of Red Lake. Peter has about 10 different outposts you can pick from. No one will beat his prices. We have been using him for over 15 years. Lots of video on internet or feel free to contact me.
