Indian lake chain lake trout

Going to the Indian chain mid September,mainly Muskie fishing,but the Lake trout also intrest me,I understand Cobble,Boulder and little boulder all have Lake trout in them.Any pointers on which lake in the chain is best for lake Trout,depth they may be in September,presentations ,spots ect would be appreciated.Watched a couple You tubes some guys made a while back and they were on what looked like an island and fishing from shore there doing quite well on trout?

The guys on youtube were fishing spring ice out trout.this is when they e come up into the shallows until the water gets to warm for them.Fall time when your coming up trout will normally be deep still depending on how the water temperature is.Normally iam talking 40-60 ft still.Although they can and will come up on some rock reefs to feed.3/8-1/2 oz tube jigs with 4"white tubes will get them ifvyou find some on yoyr graph.
