Felloe linker's... I am heading up to Cedar for the first time with my dad at the end of July and was wondering if anyone would be willing to share some fishing info. Mostly about the musky fishing that time of year. Lures? Color? and maybe a little on location. PM would be great.. Thank you

You should have a great time on cedar its a great lake and a real good muskie lake.weed beds will be in full bloom and very lush.great top water action should be expected.with the walleyes headed a little deeper you will need to hit all the points, rock bars and reefs also.bucktails, top waters, deep and shallow cranks, tubes and bulldogs.color doesnt really matter.lake is clearer on thexwest side and staining some heading east.anywhere on the lake is potentially good.for firstctimers i would puck a area and work it and learn it rather than running all over the lake.keep hitting the same spots a few times during the day.where are you staying on the lake.do you gave your own boat.
