Hello guys,

Hoping for some feedback on guys who own or have rode in this boat. Leaning towards buying a 2008 Navigator with a full windshield. It has a 75hp Yamaha 4 stroke on it. I am looking for feedback on stability performance etc for this 16.8 ft boat. I fish Winnebago chain mostly. Thanks for the help in advance.

thanks for the input guys. I am still looking for a boat like this, but am leaning towards a Dominator because of the jump seats and rod storage. If anyone sees one of these for sale, please let me know.

I bought the 07cs w/90 Hp Yamaha - great hole shot, top end around 39. I got talked out of the 75Hp pretty quick when I learned it was a de-tuned 90 - no weight difference.

But I suspect you would be satisfied with both the performance and reliability of the 75.

No major issues with the boat. Very stable and comfortable.

Dont no much about the boat except its an alumacraft wich speeks for itself, very nice boats. Dont want to get you down but I had the same motor on my crestliner wich was a 16.5ft. Motor performed exceptionally well in every department but power. It was just a little sluggish out of the hole, not much for speed either. Tried lower pitch prop to get it out of the water a little faster.. didnt help much. Upgraded to a 115hp.

I have the same boat with the SC and a 90 Etech. Very stable for a 16' boat. Performance, I would have to agree with drummerboy as I get about 38mph with mine. Nice fishing boat with lots of room.

I have the same boat with a sc.It is a nice boat not your normal 16ft fishes much bigger because of its wide beam (91in).But because of that wide beam it will pound in rough water.I have always felt save in it though,it takes a heck of a wave to come over the front when you are trolling or the transom because it sits high in the water and because its relatively light for it's displacement.It is not a fast hull so with that 75hp you could expect about 32 to 36 mh but it will get up on plane easily.All in all it is a nice fishing boat,I hope this helps.
