Two questions so far.

16.5 cs / 60hp etec

1- Rod holders anyone have a setup they are happy with rail, clamp on ….?

2- GPS Puck: I am a firm believer that the puck needs to be as close to even with the transducer. Anyone do a rear mount (little GPS puck humor)

Seriously though I would like to mount it in front of the starboard rear light but am not finding a wiring path.

Very happy with my traxtech tracks. Bert's are pretty much the same with a different finish. Put the longest length you can fit on your boat and talk to the manufacturer about back plates under the gunwales. Many choices for quality rod holders to fit track systems. I chose Cisco. Very sturdy but you pay for it.

Here is my 1996 Competitor. I set it up with traxtech rails. Pretty pricey but I would never do it any other way. As far as the puck... If you have to mount it as close to the back, just mount it on the corner of the gunwale.
