Well we need some new life jackets for family this year. These will primarily be used for tubing and water-skiing. From what I've heard, the zippered neoprene ones are the way to go. I'm not afraid to spend 60-80 dollars a jacket for good quality but I'm hoping to get some first hand experiences. So far we've looked at cabelas, gander and overtons but aren't sold on any yet. Thanks for any thoughts.

The neoprene ones are great for tubing and waterskiing. You are so want to think about visibility for your kids, if they fall off the tube or water skis, nothing beats a bright orange or red one so other folks can see them.
