Hello, I have a Nissan 5hp motor I'd like to have someone run through and give it a tuneup. It runs ok, but I think it can run a lot better. Do you guys know of any small shop or someone out of their house that would do something like this for me without blowing a budget? Thanks, WW

Take it to any Mercury dealer, it's the same motor, Mercury just has them painted different.

Sorry Walleye Warrior, the guy that I know is local to the Pewaukee area.

If you You Tube a lot of those things....lower unit grease, impeller, plugs... I'll bet you get some good "How To" advice.

Fresh gas and new plugs doesn't always get it done. I had a 6 hp Nissan a couple of years ago and it needed a carb cleaning/rebuild. As soon as I got that done, it ran like new.

It's probably a bit of a hike for you but Burkhard Marine in Suamico has always done excellent work for me.

I have the name of a guy who can do that, but I need to know where you are located.

You can probably do the plugs and lower unit grease yourself. But you may need a little help changing out an impeller.
