Sounds like the herd is higher than the past couple years. If the trend continues, and people take a year off or quit, it's only going to continue growing and Waupaca County could wind up having earn a buck reinstated. I'm sure lots of hunters would be thrilled with that. Puke

It will be a hard year of hunting public land in other counties. But in 2017 there will be some real bruisers walking around. It will suck but in the years to come it may be better buck hunting. Lets hope not that many doe get shot.

I see a lot of hunters bailing out of their leases or their property for the 2016 season. I think this is only going to create additional over crowding in the surrounding counties. But, who knows.
