What are the best kind of polarized sun glasses for fishing muddy water? I've had enough of being cheep and going and buying a $20 pair. The help is appreciated thanks!

X2 on the Costas. They are more of a fashion statement and hurt to wear all day. The last pair I bought I ended up with some real poor costumer service after the frames warped away from the lenses.

I have had good success with Cocoons. $20 to $50 so it's not the end of the world when something happens to them.

I have had 3 pair of Natives and I really like them. 1 pair I lost and 1 the dog got a hold of....those are now my everyday pair. Most Natives come with extra lenses which I like. I will take out the dark ones and put the yellow or orange ones for shooting clays. Looked at some Costas recently before buying my newest Natives. Didn't like how any of them fit.

I have a pair of $40 fishgillz that I keep in my boat at all times in case I forget my Costas. I can honestly not tell the difference between the two. Might be slight difference though on a heavy clouded day for underwater viewing.

Not a huge fan of Costas looks though. I like my Oakley's lot better for everyday use.

Burr The problem with that is by the time you try a few of the cheap ones you are well on your way to a pair of Costas

I guess that you could buy a pair of Costas or Maui Jims for $150 + if you want to spend that kind of money. I just read an article that the glasses from Strike King (SK Plus) are really good for lower priced glasses. They are $22.95 at Bass Pro. I will be trying a pair of these.

Muddy water your going to need xray vision glasses. Guess is if you had a pair of those. Fishing would be the last thing you would be doing.

Be careful on ebay and some other sites. If you are finding them lot cheaper there than through companies websites the lens are fake.

Even the most expensive polarized glasses aren't going to let you see into muddy water.

Costa Del Mar 580G's Green Mirror don't even look at anything else. Very pricey but can be had on Amazon or eBay for cheaper. Best fishing investment I have ever made.
