In the market for a four wheeler and leaning Can-am, so I thought I'd ask if any of you have opinions, troubles with, or good thoughts on them before I take the plunge.

I have 3 Suzuki's and love them. I have a 2009 Vinson 500, a 2006 Kingquad 700 (my favorite) and a 2011 Kingquad 750. For the price, you absolutely cannot beat them. I have had zero problems with mine as well. Fantastic machines. I paid $6,600.00 for my 2011 (in 2012)brand new from Country Sports in WI Rapids. A 700 - 800 Can-Am will cost you 5K more, and from what I have read, not the quality of a Suzuki. Just my .02.

In my opinion, of a past owner of a Polaris; a Polaris is now where near a CanAm! Polaris is lacking in power, quality of body panels, two-up ride comfort, quality of parts, etc Big Mac

I own a 2012 Outlander 650 XT and cant complain. It is one of the nicest riding ATV I have ever rode. I have owned it for 2 years and had zero issues. It has a lot of power, more then my previous ATV a 2008 Honda Rincon 700. It is on the faster side for a 650, I have had mine up to 70 Mph. I have never had any issues with the belt slipping or anything like that so they must have fixed that issue. One thing I don't like about the machine it is front heavy, which makes it dive when you slow down. I wish it had stiffer shock up front. Everything else I can not complain. Starts real easy in the winter, which is the complete opposite of the Rincon that wouldn't start if it was below 0. The only thing I regret is not upgrading to a side X side. Next purchase will be a Commander XT for sure.

I really liked my little Suzuki 400 Eiger. Small, light, very little maintenance, always ran & started. I would either buy another Suzuki or try a Yamaha. Big Mac

Big Mac, I'd be interested to know what you would buy next, since you've had experience with many different brands.

I like a small ATV that I can get back in to retrieve a deer with, without fighting my way through a bunch of trees.

I own a 2007 Can Am 800 XT (2 up). Good; plenty of power, great ride, comfy, tires are good, nice storage(not waterproof though), ez controls. Bad; belt slips when in deep mud/water for any period of time, battery is hard to remove & install, they are expensive, needs more ground clearance. Overall, I like my machine. I probably wouldn't buy another one, unless they improve the belt/clutch slippage. I have owned Polaris, Suzuki, Honda, Can Am. So I do have experience in the ATV world. Big Mac
