I am on the fence between these 2 bows (not the carbon models) and I was wondering if anyone out here has one or the other and could offer some comments or reviews. Thanks!!

Was in the same boat a few months ago. I'm getting back into bow hunting after a few years off and was upgrading my equipment. Shot and handled many different makes and models and fell in love with the draw cycle off the Hoyt's. Settled on a spyder. Got the bare bow for 650. Got a left over one from last year. Shooting the faktor and spyder right after each other, I couldn't justify spending an extra $250 on the faktor. They felt pretty much the same in my hand. I have shot quite a bit over the last couple months and am very pleased.

I have a factor 34. The z5 cam on the factor are a little smoother. From what I have been told the RKT cam on the Spyder is faster. If I could pick up a Spyder for a little less money I wouldn't look back. There isn't enough difference between them.
