cattail marshes

Anyone hunt cattail marshes with success? I found some decent size marshes and just wondered how you guys attack these? Do u sit on the ground? On the edges? Or just dive right in the middle? Thanx guys!!

Like Perch said scouting is key. If hunting now I would walk the transition lines and look for hot sign. Try to get in as close to bedding as possible without busting deer out and setup according to the wind and what you find for sign. Good luck

They can be great. More barriers, the more likely to get onto a big buck. Pretty much focus on transitions and then high ground once you get into the tails. Winter/early spring are great times to scout these areas and figure out where the deer are going.

Thanx. Yea i may have to wait til season ends and scout it a little more. They are massive marshes
