Hi Ladies,

Just got back from a gals fishing trip to Eagle Lake Canada. Had a great time. 8 Ladies for the first of I hope many more gatherings. Caught a bunch of Walleye biggest 29" many in the 21-25 range, a lot of pike..biggest 34" only 1 muskie this week, a 45" beauty. Food was awesome, shore lunch was the best, and that late nite snack of "eagle river shrimp" was amazing. let me know if you have any questions, I hope to gather some more interest in this event. If you are like me and my husband does not fish it was the best way to get to my dream trip of fishing in Canada.

Gals Goin Finshing 2011 report: 4 days 4 women 180 fish. 120 Walleye and 60 Pike. Largest Walleye 21.5 Largest Pike 31". Fish were not as big this year as last year but were very plentiful. Ate shore lunch 3 times. Gord and his staff at South Shore Lodge did an excellant job. we will be returning next year.

Marinemom, go to www.southshorelodge.com I am only a participant, but I will attest to great fishing, good food and lots of fun, we have 4 of us going from the Eagle River area already. More are always welcome. Gord the owner is a great cook and gracious host. Give him a call.

Hi! I was brought up on fishing in canada! Fished lake of the woods kenora for many years! My grandmother and grandfather had a place up there! So many wonderful memories! I would be very interested in going with and meeting some new friends! And I love fishing! Please let me know details and what it costs and when I have to let you know ok? Thank you!

WI Women Fish is also going to Canada in 2011. It will be a first for many of us and we are looking forward to it. We hope to take 30 women and plan on car pooling. It is going to be very affordable and we have the entire resort.
