Deer Management/QDM Advice

Ok guys my uncle and I need your help. We try and practice QDM and try to take 3.5 year old bucks or older. I personally try to take at least 2 does off also. My question to you guys is we have a 7 point gene out there that doesn't grow a brow tine. A 3.5 year old I saw 2 years ago wasn't much. He was lacking mass and not very tall at all. So I guess should we try and get rid of this gene early as we can or wait? Also there is a fork out there with 2-3 sticker points on his right side. What about him? And spikes? I know you guys will probably drill me about letting them grow but what if the fork gets to be a 6 year old with a 12 inch spread funky 8 pointer that gets to breed who knows how many does in those 6 years? lol I guess I'm wondering what you would do if it were your property. We just don't think these bucks will amount to anything.
Thanks!
BE NICE GUYS!! lol
