What do I have a picture of?

Does anyone know what this thing is?

In the 2nd picture you can clearly see the tail. On a phone I can see how it would be missed, but on my pc I can see the tail easily. Its a possum.

By the looks of the tail my guess is possum or one fat rat !!!

What NiteMite said. His leg is barely visible lined up perfectly with the lower end of his neck and head.

Kind of looks like he moved his right leg forward when the shot was taken. It's the only spot that looks fuzzy in the picture.

Does this buck have only one front leg?

I say possum. The inferred flashes on trailcameras can make stuff look darker than normal.
