I may have an opportunity to fish the Cisco Chain in mid June. A few questions: -Which lakes of the Chain have the best smallmouth fishing? Trying to decide if I want to get a Wisconsin or Michigan license. -How crowded can I expect the lake(s) to be on a Thursday mid June? -Is there good largemouth fishing there? -Who would you recommend for boat & motor rental?

I wouldnt say its the best on the chain but with a Wisconsin license you can fish some good bass producing boundary lakes like West Bay and Big Lake. Its mostly Smallmouth but Largemouth are frequent in Michigan Bay off of Big Lake.Boat traffic is light on both.Bents Camp on Mamie has rentals and excellent food! Mamie is also a boundary water.
