Carp Shoot Big Cedar Lake

Any suggestions on when we should hold the shoot this year?

I wish you guys the best with this. Someday I hope to get out on one of those carp boats. I don't have a bow, but I think it would be really cool to have such great lighting to see what is up shallow!

Based upon 20 boats/40 Anglers is $400.00 plus an additional $100.00 donated by the Thursday Night Charity Fishing Club, (35%. 25%, 15%, 10%, 5%, 5%, 5%) Lowest total catch by weight is a $50.00 Gift Certificate donated by Cedar Lake Sales. I saw two boats out on Saturday night already. I was also spotting the shallows with my spotlight and I saw two carp swimming in the shallows. There is already some weed growth in the shallows.
