Leech shortage in Wisconsin

Anyone know any baitshop in the oshkosh area that is carrying leechs? I was told from the baitshop i usually go to that they might not even have leechs this year do to the prolonged winter this year.

my understanding is that the ponds where most of these leeches come from were froz over for an extended time, but that leeches should be available ...they were just getting shipments in around the TFF area 2 weeks ago... they were also charging a premium price for them and they were smallish... I would check with some of the online sellers if you need a pound or so

Actually, no, the unemployment rate here is the lowest in the state, usually. Didn't even get that right.

Reportedly, leeches and other societal parasites are abundent in Madison as well as in S.E WI.

Daves bait in kaukauna has them. Also express in menasha has them too.

Word is that we have to wait for ice-out in northern MN. Might be a week or 2 yet.
