Duck Slayer- Yep Foiles did it first. Maybe taught the kid a little info but the kid still did it himself and it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out the parks have geese and they can be illegally had in the dark. I am sure it happens more than one would think, however most morons don't post it online or in thier videos.

FOILES used bread to entice banded geese near his vehicle, shot the geese with a pellet gun, retrieved the geese, and removed their leg bands and neck collars. FOILES called this method of collecting goose bands "parking," and subsequently used the collected leg bands to decorate his duck and goose call lanyard, which he wore prominently on his commercial hunting videos to advertise his skill and experience as a migratory waterfowl hunter. Utah kid The subject took numerous geese throughout Salt Lake City. Armed with a shotgun, pellet gun, or a suppressed .22 caliber handgun he stalked waterfowl at parks, golf courses, and hotels. He specifically targeted waterfowl with bands or collars, which are used by biologists to better manage migratory bird populations.

The kid is an attetion seeking little punk, liar and cheat. He wanted the attetion for shooting bands. He put it all over the internet. I also hope they bust his little buddies that posed in the pictures. Foiles has very little to do with it, the kid made his own decision to become a poacher. I hope they throw the book at him!

Foiles may have used the bands around his neck thing as a way of trying to impress people but he was far from the first one to do it. I think hunters have been doing it since the first band was put on a duck. Deer hunters have horn porn and duck hunters have band porn!

Badger Hunter.... Jeff Foiles help influence the band culture with making hunters think the more bands you have , the better the hunter you are. If you read his arrest report he went to a park in CO and was shooting geese with a pellet gun . Each goose he targeted was geese that had bands on. It seems this young hunter learned from Jeff Foiles that you must have leg bands with your calls to be a Waterfowler. Kids like this could learn a thing or to from Gordon Macquarrie's books like I did as a kid. "I live in a mindset where the individual (and only the individual) is responsible for their behavior - good or bad! " So badger hunter this wisdom by you means kids are responsible for their actions only and not the parents in any way? just saying..........

That is just sad... What is this world coming to when people would risk going to jail over a piece of metal around there neck.
