I am some what new to duck hunting and I am wondering if there is a pro or con to hunting in the rain. Is it better with only cloud cover and no rain or with rain or does it even matter?

Thanks

Light rain is the almost best time to be duck hunting!

Light to medium snow is the only thing better!

can't wait for snow, i wish it was snowing now!

Light rain is great with 10 mph wind low clouds as well. Has to be chilly too! Cant describe a better duck day than that.

I agree with GnC. I like hunting in a little rain with the low clouds and a good 5-10 mph wind. Definitely make sure you have a good waterproof outer layer. Being wet means leaving early..
