Spring mud run?
3/22/13 @ 8:24 AM
Anybody interested on getting together after the ice goes off with mud rigs and tear it up? I would like to get out if anybody wants to join me, possibly at horicon when the ice is off.
Let me know on:

or [email protected]
Thanks,

Never said I could read the future but I have been through the process before.
No way will 30 counties change their vote to overturn the approval. If they do, they are all voting against what the citizens of each county have already voted for.
If you want to keep living in fantasy land, have at it but reality is gonna hurt.
I'm not saying that this is right, I just love to read everything musky rights, he is so smart, one day when I am as intelligent as him I will too be able to put such good input in on internet forums... Your name should be the lake link king, cause it's all you do. Sorry, and let me know how that open water hunting vote goes, I'll let you know how frying a 50 inch musky goes
Now it comes down to being critisized for being "involved" with waterfowl hunting, doing projects, being on a commitee, or being involved with the Conservation Congress. Lets look at a big fact-
IF it wasn't for the people that have been involved with waterfowl hunting, conservation, and the Congress, for decades after decades, do you think that there would be any duck and goose hunting right now? Probably not. There has been an extreme amount of work that has gone into protecting the resources for the sport. Thank your lucky stars that this all happened. To all the people that I have had the pleasure to work with for so many years on waterfowl projects, I personally thank them for making it so that WE can enjoy a morning hunt in the marsh.
the holier than thou attitude of people on here never changes and is just sickening...
we better cancel the fall hunting season, as all it does is harass the birds on their southern migration. might as well cancel the hrc events that are planned for this spring/summer as that will harass the birds too. better not drive through the marsh on 49 as the vehicle traffic will disturb nesting birds. same for bird watchers or the schools that take bus loads of kids out there to see the marsh, all disturb birds. whole bunch of hypocrites around here
fowl1...you call me old fashioned and hate mud motors. I say I have several. You tell me I'm bragging....You guys rip on MH about what he knows, or "allegedly" knows...Yet I can find out what HE DOES for the sport with a simple search. Yet I am not aware of any DOCUMENTED accounts of YOUR aide in the conservation of the sport. No matter what I or MH say you will argue..that is fine though. I look forward to the gripes on here when or IF mud motors are restricted. The best excuses is the definition of what tear it up is!!!! sounds like when Clinton was making his excuses on what defines intercourse! KKZ!
This is way out of hand. Can't you guys just respect when someone is caring about the resource and saying stay away from the duck and fish nests during this sensitive time? How can a person be ripped for caring about the resource? Its not all about anyone of you however it is about nature so take care of it. When its gone its hard to get back. My two cents.
Ole 870, out of all the things wrong with even just waterFowlers today, there is way more someone could do. Than just complain on here? Get on these home owners that live on lakes, don't like the goose crap. So they have some "group" come out and "remove""relocate" the nests.
I just posted the last few times to prove, im not the D-BAG here.
Sheepdog is correct and a example. He posted his thoughts and a example. His "example" becomes the discussion and it has nothing to do with the post?
Like MuskeyHunter posts, (something like) HE thinks going to a lake, knowing has muskellunge in it and Cast till your arm falls off. Thats much different than bass fishing? So what. But now he feels better for some reason?
And woaah NELLI, the "rich measurement" as he calls it. It means a lot to him. Now he got to post; he not only has one, but three mud motors and he hunts with carved decoys. He now feels "bigger" I guess?
My point. A MUD MOTOR DOES NOT ONLY WORK IN MUD! and I LIKE TO BE IN A MARSH, it is my "church" if you will. I spent all day in a marsh yesterday. Fished a little, looked around for future carp fishing, took pics for sons school project. And guess what? You ready for this? The mud motor never touched mudd or a piece of grass, never hit full speed. I know you cant believe it, but it is true. My son and I had a "radical day" he said! (so you know, we didn't act like radicals)..and we killed the large mouth, but not really. We put them back alive. Just so we are clear. Might even say we "toar it up"?
