Anyone have any experience with these new Swamp Ratt motors? I have heard all of the excellent reviews regarding the Mud Buddy's, but I have not settled yet. I am in the market for a small mud motor, for a skiff. Horsepower would range from 5-9hp. Light weight is a must. The lighter the motor the better.

I don't know about the Swamp Ratt motor, but I have a stealth 2000 duck skiff and I bought a tiller mount from swamp ratt for it. They were helpful with all my questions and product is great. I would give them a call he said they are coming out with new 7hp.

not heard of or about Swamp Ratt. For Leightweight I hear of the Mud Buddy Mini and Copperhead and Dixie. Plenty of info/thoughts on mudmotortalk.com
