Woodcock Migration

Just curious if anyone has seen some Woodcock migrating thru Wisconsin yet? Also anyone care to share how much snow cover is in their corner of the North woods??

Was putting up between 10-20 per night, but have stopped because we are in "quiet time".

kicked ONE up at milford two weekends ago.

Flushed 10 woodcock in Northern IL. about 10 days ago checking deer stands and shed hunting.

Woodcock were all over the place this morning in Babcock.

I live in northern IL. Flushed 10 woodcock last weekend checking deer stands and shed hunting. Fun to see them!

The pup flushed her first bird ever in Navarino on Saturday. A nice woodcock! Exciting moment for sure!

Here's one not making the migration this year. Waukesha county last October.

Put up 8 on Saturday and 14 this morning while walking the dogs in Waupaca County. Basically any spot that faced south and wasn't covered with snow held birds. They are definitely moving through, just hope they don't get whacked with a big snowstorm or something!

Was is central WI and put up a few this weekend. In-laws saw quite a few in southern WI also. They are one the move!!!

I was in the woods tuesday and the snow is still knee deep. Not expecting woodcock for quite a while yet.

Have been tracking through some buddies - right now a lot in MO, but not this far north yet. Most often they won't go where there is frost and/or snow.
