Turkey Hunting
COULD BE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT

I bought a license online a few months ago, received it in the mail and tucked it away in my wallet. Tonight I checked to make sure I had the right permit for tomorrow and noticed that I was missing my stamp/licence (I had the leg tag and convenience fee charge).
I then called the DNR and was told that I was issued everything and must be missing that part that they sent. I was a little bewildered because I knew it went straight from the mail to my wallet.
I then went down to the store and they did not know what I needed. I finally had the manager call the DNR number. He called and was transferred to a supervisor. The supervisor told him that this has been a problem this spring with online orders (the stamp/license part not printing out).
Anyways, I can almost guarantee that a run in tomorrow with a DNR agent would have resulted in a ticket. Check your tags and see if you got everything in the mail. FYI they printed one off for free.

Beertown and Jizz this is what I am talking about. I have the same carcass tags where is states those things you listed. However, I called the DNR and was told twice that there is an additional square needed that says I have a stamp/license. I believe it itemizes each and states how much they cost. No different to a waterfowl stamp in addition to a small game license or an inland trout stamp in addition to the regular fishing license. Ill post when I get a chance but call the DNR number tomorrow and ask them if it is all contained in one carcass tag of if an additional square is needed. This is why I posted. Not to create a discussion but to share that the DNR said that tags were not printed properly.
I'm with Jzzz on this. I'm looking right now and on one single square it says "Spring Turkey Lic/Stamp/Permit Award" It's all in one. On my additional tag purchased over the counter, it says "Res Spring Turkey Lic/Stamp/Permit". Each get's attached to the bird completely.
Its actually two green squares (if connected they would be one long rectangle). One is the permit that is attached to the bird (it does say stamp/license on it but that is not the stamp/license). The stamp/license is printed on a seperate square. Ill post pics later when I have access to a camera.
BTW if you buy them online you are forced to get the stamp/license at the same time. I think it would be up to the warden to decide what would happen. Im fairly confident that you can be ticketed if not carrying the license while hunting.
I had bought them but did not get them and that is the problem. Just trying to give anyone is a similar situation a heads up and reminder to check.
FWIW,
I had a similar issue with a license I purchased weeks prior. I went through the online chat option from the DNR website, pretty handy by the way. The DNR rep was able to confirm what I had paid for and sent it to me via email in pdf form. I was then able to print it out. Took just a few minutes and the rep stayed online until I had printed license in hand.
