Is that second pic a pickerel?

On my fly rod.

40" SE Wisconsin....

Had a nice trip up to Leech Lake, MN last week. Got my first (and likely only) silver pike! That was a pretty cool surprise. While perch fishing it came after my dad's jig/minnow a few minutes earlier and we thought it was a musky. Hooked it a couple minutes later and was all excited about getting my first musky, then noticed it was actually a silver pike! Very cool looking fish. 

Also got this dandy 28" northern while perch fishing as well. Always fun to feel a little tick, set the hook and have your rod double over and have the drag start singing! And I know this is a pike photo thread, but 10-15 minutes after that one, I got this 25" walleye. Both while fishing solo because my dad had had enough fishing for the day unfortunately.

Lake Of The Woods Pike from about two weeks ago.  

Little guy stuck it out all day never giving up with just a couple little bass to show till a flag went up as we where getting ready to callit. Got it all the way to the hole but needed a little assistance getting it on the ice.
