Favorite WEEDLESS Muskie Bait

I do own one, but have never used it. They make a jumbo size rubber frog with a big single hook you can hide in the frog. Basically a musky version of a bass frog.
Seems like a one fish bait...don't know how many toothies you can catch before its trashed. Also seems the hook could easily be inhaled farther than a normal lure...
What kind of weeds?
Are they up to the surface with pockets or do they sit slightly below?
Unweighted Burts or suicks can be phenomenal in slop. So can a flat sided twitch bait that you work across the top of that stuff like a hang wobbler. Just twitch it across the surface and when you get to a pocket twitch harder to get it to dive into that pocket. Let it settle back up on the surface and keep it moving.
With a Burt or suick they will back up so you can keep them dancing in those pockets for more twitches than a flat twitch bait.
Ive been using buchers slopmaster spinnerbaits and spoons. They have great action and stay relativly weed free. Also you could look into the new weedless treble hooks that are being made. Slap em on your fav lures and each barb as a spring that keeps the weeds off of your hookpoints. Can buy em at Rollie and Helens. http://www.muskyshop.com/modules/cart/products.php/nav_id/9/page/1/id/2011/name/NeversnagGuardhooks
