anyone ever use vinyl-coated ice fishing line for tip-ups? any opinions?

I had it on a tip a few years ago and removed it within a few trips. I should'a known even before I put it on that it was too stiff....I think I just pitched it,whereas I'll keep short lengths of normal tip-up line for other uses.

IMO,the stuff was junk.

yes i have i put it on two of my tip ups and had to change it asap because it unspools sooooo easily it isnt even funny all it ever did was cause probloms.
