Ice House Crank Down Frame

Okay i am looking to build a crank down frame this summer for a house, and was wondering if anyone has any pictures or designs on how to make the wheel crank system. i have been looking online for a while and figured out the style with the leaf sprig jammed halfway in a piece of tubing is not the way to do it because it likes to break springs. so if anyone has any ideas on other ways of doing it with a hand winch. also if anyone has pictures of their houses crank setup would be great. i came up with an idea of the whole thing pivoting on one of the leaf bolts instead of fabing a pivot system, but i did not see that design anywhere so i was wondering if the is a reason i couldn't find that idea or if it would be a good idea or not. open to suggestions. here is a pic of what i was thinking

I built one that is 6'6" x 14' in 2003 for a buddy that hauls a 650cc 4 wheeler inside it & goes a couple hundred miles each year 70 mph plus done the highway & has taken it out every weekend during the winter & has not had a problem with it since 2003. They have great quality steel & weld & have been building them for 20 years. We have plenty of shacks that we have built on his fish house frames & not had any problems with them. www.miltonablacksmith.com
looking at the pictures on the website, it looks like they do the leaf spring inside tubing type system. you say that you have some from them though. have you had any problems with the springs breaking or anything, how long have you had yours? it sounded like to avoid that style when i was looking around.
