Hali drop chains

Anyone have a way to get a hook back on a drop chain..Gotta couple that have no or broken hooks.

i just use small snaps works just fine

Haven't done it yet, but I'm going to try using jewelry wire to attach panfish hooks to jigging chains. I'm thinking something around 26-30 gauge should be about right. Best of luck!

Mustad fly snaps, small size. Heat it up and open the eye then crimp it shut on the chain. That leaves a snap on the end to swap out hooks whenever you want.

Would a split ring work? I think you can get some pretty small ones that should do it.

I tried to open the eye of a small gold aberdeen hook and hook it on the chain. Pinching the eye back on the hook was harder than I thought. They make spare chains with a small snap clip on one end and a hook on the other. Always thought the hooks on the spoons were too small but some replacement chains have bigger hooks.
