Madison Gun Show

Any attend a show here in years past? How was the selection and price? I am in the market for a new or used bolt action deer hunting rifle. Preferablby .30-06 or .308

Went to the show on Friday night, wasen't as good as last years show, but it was still a local gun show for me. Picked up a couple of 20rd Pmags for my AR, a set of grips for my Ruger MKII, and a old Western 22 wooden box, so I was happy that I went.

I agree about the "Bob & Rocco"... same sellers, same stuff, same high prices. I'll usually go to look, but have never made a big purchase. WindLaker

WHEN AND WHERE PLEASE?

I was at that show last year, not a bad show, lots of tables. (400 I think) The only problem is most of the dealers (pucci's regular dealers) have the same stuff from show to show, obviously there prices need to be adjusted if they would like to turn over there inventory. I did pick up some great deals on some Dillon dies and conversion kits that I was looking for, but that was from a normal guy that set up a table to sell his own stuff. The shows that I like the best are the Fond du Lac shows, (500 tables) the next one is April 14 & 15th, at the fair grounds, seems like there are more private individuals at that show than full time gun show sellers. Still at any gun show your best deals are usually between the individuals walking around trying to sell they're own stuff.
