Springfield Armory Range Officer anyone own one??

I was considering buying a Springfield Armory "Range Officer" and I was wondering if anyone owns one? Any comments or revies would be great.

yes, I have a Springfield armory RO. I have about 300 rounds thru it. I used to shoot national match .45's and this pistol is every bit as good as the national match pistols I had the opportunity to shoot. I would not use pistol for carry unless I replace the bomar style sights but the sights are one of the reasons I bought this pistol. The 1st 5 shoot string from a rest and I put all the rounds in less than 2in's at 15 yards. by the third group I had it center of mass, it was very close out of the box. Its capable of better the pistol was only limited by the operator. I've only shot ball ammo thru it and in the 300 rds I had one stove pipe that I caused when I limp wristed a shot. I actually had a Ruger SR1911 in my hand the day I bought the RO, I am a Ruger guy and had every intention of getting the SR1911, but after handling both and breaking each down I had to go with the range officer. Good luck, I believe the Springfield RO is the best 1911 you can buy for the money right now. GF
