Guns & Shooting
LC9 Update
3/19/12 @ 1:18 PM
Had the LC9 to the range today for the first time. Ran 100rds through it with no misfeeds / jams. Found the 3 dot sights WAY LOW at 15yds - 6". I had the feling when 'aiming' with the 3 dots I was tipping the pistol down from it's natural POA - hense the low groups. Went to shooting Natural POA only using the front sight as a left / right reference and kept the next 20 shots on a 8" target. The trigger was long on pull but consistent, similar to a decent DA revolver. Overall I'm very pleased with the gun. As far as the sights - I'd rather shoot a pistol that hit with a natural POA and ignore the rear sight for now, then shoot a gun that had to be aimed somwhere other then the natural POA.
I'll look for a sight solution in the future.
