Any big differences in handling ,smoothness etc, anyone has experienced between the GI and the Mil.Spec .45 models other than I believe sights.?

GI has smaller sights and original sized ejection port and a lanyard loop along with "US" marked stock/grip panels. Mil-spec has larger ejection post (lowered) and larger dot sights, no lanyard loop, no "US" marking on grip and costs a little more than the GI. you can get a pile of info from the Springfield armory website as well. good luck Shoot straight and shoot often. GF
