I went on a shopping spree on Fri. I bought a Ruger .357 revolver and a Bushmaster AR15 in .223 cal. That was an expensive BUT fun day. I bought the .357 to carry on me bowhunting and to keep in the nightstand at home and I am really not sure why I bought the AR15. Oh yeah, the election. Dull

Anyone else bought anything lately? Lets hear what, why, ect!!!!! Smile

My SBR and suppresors took from 6 to 9 months just for ATF approval and I heard it's taking longer now as more people are applying and there are less ATF personel doing the tranfsers due to the sequestor. I went the trust way though instead of the asking permission from the Sheriff.

Took 6 weeks just to get the dealer to dealer transfer approved, another month or so for the county sheriff's signature/fingerprints, etc.. still waiting on ATF (been a month now).

M&P 40C, sweet. The first 10 shots it jumped a bit being a small gun in somewhat large caliber. Got use to it on the plinkin' range rather than paper and did much better.

An Air Gun. I was truly disappointed with the accuracy of 2 break barrel guns a Gamo and a Beeman both scoped or even with iron sights. Buku power but not able to hit consistently. Picked up a Benji pump up in .22 cal. I'm happy again, better trigger, can regulate power, and it hits where I aim it.

fsnuts, my M1 carbine is one of the most fun to shoot guns I own. Not really sure what good it's for or what to use it for but it sure is fun! And I have enough other guns in my safes that I don't hunt with so I don't care if there isn't a good use for it!

Regarding the scope for a M-L asked about below, I have used a quality 2-7 pwr scope for the most part. Lately I have stepped it up a bit with a Zeiss 3-9 Conquest on my Knight 'Elite' 45 cal. I do the IL thing & shots can be presented out just a bit, even though I like 25-100 yards.

No, I don't feel handicapped using my M-L for deer hunting. Wink
