I went on a shopping spree on Fri. I bought a Ruger .357 revolver and a Bushmaster AR15 in .223 cal. That was an expensive BUT fun day. I bought the .357 to carry on me bowhunting and to keep in the nightstand at home and I am really not sure why I bought the AR15. Oh yeah, the election. Dull

Anyone else bought anything lately? Lets hear what, why, ect!!!!! Smile

An Air Gun. I was truly disappointed with the accuracy of 2 break barrel guns a Gamo and a Beeman both scoped or even with iron sights. Buku power but not able to hit consistently. Picked up a Benji pump up in .22 cal. I'm happy again, better trigger, can regulate power, and it hits where I aim it.

fsnuts, my M1 carbine is one of the most fun to shoot guns I own. Not really sure what good it's for or what to use it for but it sure is fun! And I have enough other guns in my safes that I don't hunt with so I don't care if there isn't a good use for it!

Regarding the scope for a M-L asked about below, I have used a quality 2-7 pwr scope for the most part. Lately I have stepped it up a bit with a Zeiss 3-9 Conquest on my Knight 'Elite' 45 cal. I do the IL thing & shots can be presented out just a bit, even though I like 25-100 yards.

No, I don't feel handicapped using my M-L for deer hunting. Wink

I have been wanted to get into muzzleloader hunting, but didn't have a gun. Came across a new, never shot Thompson Center Impact for $150. Too good of a deal to pass up. Need to put a scope on it AND learn how to shoot it. I am clueless on MZ so will take any help I can get. Thinking of tossing on a Nikon or Redfield scope. Any thoughts?

In February I picked up a Springfield Armory XD-9 Full size with HI-cap mags. Probably the best pistol I have ever shot.

Lovin my new Ruger 22/45 Lite! It has become my new favorite .22 handgun to shoot. Already got 1500 rounds through it between me and the wife. Tried out a lot of different ammo and found out what brand it really shoots well now, and thankfully I have a few thousand rounds of it laying around. Picked up another 1000 rounds today of another brand to see how that patterns. Its not that finicky so far except for that fact that it does NOT like Federal ammo, which sucks cuz I got 900 rounds of that sitting around, though my other pistols like it so no big deal.

Glad things are going so good for you muskrat. Nice gun. Never pulled the trigger when I had chance to get one. But did pull the trigger on 2 of them before. Its not a smithy but a nice gun!

I just bought a 4" Ruger Security-Six, kinda retro. It will go with my 6" model. Seems like a good week to buy a gun.

Took the "Aldi's" scope off of it and put a redfield on it right away. Picked it up for my son's first youth hunt this fall.
