Just ordered a. Zastava CZ99 .22lr rifle. Saw them last week at Cabelas for $279, SOLID gun, nice wood. Almost jumped but decided to see what I could find out about them. Found out J&G Sales had them on line for $169 plus $19 shipping. For $190 delivered I REALLY liked them. Should be here early this week...range report to follow. Present idea is put a Williams peep on it for an iron sighted gun.

TZ. A while back I purchased an M&P .40C. Loaned it to a deputy son, it took me almost a year to get it back, it was very well liked. Most departments use Glock in .45, but for off duty or back up it was very well received. I'll gladly sacrifice 2 rounds to put a wider and heavier slug down range over a 9 mm.

My older Neighbor came over to talk and with a Red box with a Ruger Single Six in it with both 22L and magnum. Shot only a few times. Offered it to me for taking care of his lawn and watching his house all these years. He has no kids. Said he is not worried with all my guns. I could not turn it down. It is Perfect and he paid 69.00 at the hardware store. Made me a Happy Guy. Big Smile

My last 3 purchases have all been hand guns. Bought an M&P Shield 9mm because it was super inexpensive off Arms List, and it was still brand new unfired. Next purchase was a Smith & Wesson Model 624 44 Mag with a Red Dot, I ahve a desire to shoot a deer with it. Just yesterday I picked up because the price was right a CVA Scout in .243, can't wait to shoot that one.

I bought a Rock Island Armory 1911 9mm. Mainly for getting off of bowstand in the northwoods. Shot over 500 rounds out of it so far and no jamming-great pistol.

I will admit I am a glock a fan boy, but also a 1911 fanboy. And yes I realize what a huge contradiction that is, LOL! Glock was my first Tupperware gun over 15 years ago. Aside from 1911s I have more trigger time on glocks than anything else, though I've owned or shot probably everything else too. Plenty of guys I shoot with are glock haters, whice is ok cuz every one has their own preference. Though the one glock they all seem to enjoy to shoot and not give me crap about is is my 19. You will enjoy that gun for sure. Have fun! Big Smile

Not that theres anything wrong with Glocks but the reason most PD's use them is because they're cheap.

Picked up a Glock 19 recently already have a 21 for the home and the 19 will be for CC. What a fun gun to shoot and a lot less cost for 9mm than the .45s. Don't get me wrong the 21 still is my favorite and I still will go to the range with both but I will put more rounds through the 19. I also know that there are a lot of folks that don't care for Glocks and I don't care. Most of the PDs around here carry them for a reason. Enjoy what you have and have fun.
