Bought any guns lately? What did you buy?
Wack em, Just replaced my Sig Romeo5 Red Dot with a Leupold. What I love about it is a nice clear picture all the way up to max power. Love the warranty too. Will have to buy another gun for my Romeo5 or sell it. Let us know what you end up with Wack em. Just curious what others are using and their individual reviews of the equipment. We all learn that way.
Yes I did. Found a Hi-Pont C9
Like new condition. Heard so much controversy about them
Price was so low I bought it
Anyway. Went to the range very impressed.. Accurate and no problems.
Don't know about them being ugly as most of your are the same
There is not much beauty in poly frame pistol all black ...One man's opinion
I just built another .25/45 Sharps. It's an AR platform rifle what spits an 87 grain, .25 caliber bullet at 3,000 feet per second from a 20 inch barrel.
So I have an AR platform that I can use to effectively hunt deer with, in an under 9 pound package. This rifle is also my first with a lower that I milled out myself. It's working great so far.
I built one for a friend of mine last year. He used it last fall to kill an eight point buck at a laser ranged 311 yards with one shot.
I've looked at the both vortex scopes. Also Nikon, so far. Leaning towards the viper hs-t. I have always been happy w/ both brands! Both maybe looking into other optics? But either way I look forward to mounting that Ruger up with some sweet eyes and glass and testing the gun and myself.!
Sucker for sales, I bought a Ruger Lcp2 on sale last week. Absolutely didnt need another carry gun but well, you know how that goes... Also picked up a Remington 597 22LR for like $150 during the Christmas sales.
This is my first experience with Henry Rifles other than couple rimfires. Have to say I am very impressed with the quality! Beautiful wood, nice bluing job and made in Rice Lake. Really soft shooting with Winchester 300 ballistic silver tips. Going to try Hornady pointed 325gr loads this summer, see if I can get little better accuracy.........
Picked up a Henry Lever Gun in 45-70 for my Ohio deer hunt. ( They only allow rifles in straight wall calibers, or shotguns). Put a Vortex Strike Eagle 1x6 scope on it. Tried it out on 2 coyotes during Wisconsin deer season, then got a shot at a nice buck in Ohio. Did the job on both quite nicely!.......
