I went on a shopping spree on Fri. I bought a Ruger .357 revolver and a Bushmaster AR15 in .223 cal. That was an expensive BUT fun day. I bought the .357 to carry on me bowhunting and to keep in the nightstand at home and I am really not sure why I bought the AR15. Oh yeah, the election. Dull

Anyone else bought anything lately? Lets hear what, why, ect!!!!! Smile

Steve, you should look at the Savage 10ML, it uses smokeless powder. I have about 100 shots through mine and I've never cleaned it yet. Also remember that stainless resists rust much better but it can still rust.

I just placed an order for a CVA Optima V2 rifle! I ordered it in stainless steel with a black, synthetic stock. And this particular rifle comes with scope mounts, a 3x9 scope (with calibrated crosshairs to shoot longer ranges) and a padded soft case.

I had a different inline muzzleloader but while it was accurate enough, it didn't seem to matter how well I cleaned it, two weeks later I'd have rust in the bore! I once spent SEVEN HOURS cleaning the gun until each patch came out as clean as it went in, then I oiled the gun and set it in my gun rack. And two weeks later, the bore was rusty again. So I sold it to a guy who said that doesn't matter. Maybe to HIM it doesn't matter, but it darned well did to me.

So now I'm once again like a kid at Christmas waiting for a package in the mail…

I'll let you all know when I get it and how it shoots.

The 10-22's shoot good but are pretty rough. The guy i got them from tried to put this bake on coating on them. It took but has some real cosmetic issues. Glock is sweet.Have no use for a 9 mm but figure I can use it as a boat gun for calming big fish down or trade it for something I can use.I figure the two 22's are good for rainy days strapping to the wheeler ect. Might put one in my buddies super cub and one in the boat as a just in case kinda thing. it was a good deal cuz the glock is around 550 or so new and it came with 5 clips and 200 rounds. Then with the 6 clips and 2000 or so rounds for the 22 I figure I did ok.

I just got a Mossberg MVP 5.56 that takes AR mags. I will be converting it to a match rifle. I can't wait to try it out.

Picked up a 1911 remington r1. Have higher end 1911s in my safe but wanted a standard looking gun that was still reliable. 250 rounds through already without a hiccup using ball and HP ammo with stock mags and brownells 8 rounders. Accuracy is great for what I paid for the gun. Trigger is fine also, not as good as the triggers on my other guns but those cost twice the price too. Overall very happy with the purchase. It's always nice to add a another 1911 to the safe. Big Smile Big Smile

Mossberg 4x4, fluted barrel, black sun stock in .308 Win.

Best factory scope I've ever looked through. My nephew really loved it. Thanks Dave!

Browning A5 3 1/2", 28" barrel. Love everything about it.... but when running 3 1/2" rounds through it. Seems like the quick load don't like it? Something sticks between the mag and the ramp? Now towards the end of the season, I'm using up leftover loads. Maybe something to do with that? Or anyone else experience problems with the a5 quick load?
