I went on a shopping spree on Fri. I bought a Ruger .357 revolver and a Bushmaster AR15 in .223 cal. That was an expensive BUT fun day. I bought the .357 to carry on me bowhunting and to keep in the nightstand at home and I am really not sure why I bought the AR15. Oh yeah, the election. Dull

Anyone else bought anything lately? Lets hear what, why, ect!!!!! Smile

Bought a Springfield XDS yesterday. Its going to be my everyday carry gun. I wished they had released it in the .40 cal, but that isnt expected to happen until later in the year.

Now the problem, i get to pick it up tomorrow. I stopped at 6 different stores between yesterday and today. Not one store had .45 ammo. So i now have a new gun, with nothing to shoot out of it Sad

Very jealous esox and ski. Both are "wants" on my list(if i were a firearms owner of course). I will have to buy a firearm at some point here given the current political climate. Right now the only gun owner in my residence is my black lab Bailey. Not sure what he has in his safe, or what he has sold lately either. Wink

Bought a Hi-Point 9mm Carbine yesterday. Fun to shoot and fits the girlfriend perfect for when she wants to shoot too.

Looking at the new 2013 Ruger line up. I really like that SR556VT modern sporting rifle. 20in fluted barrel, and two stage trigger, it looks like it could be a real tack driver. I won't hold my breath it always seem to take Ruger a while to get the new production items out in enough quantity for availability, and in the current market they will fly. Great looking long range target and varmint gun.

shoot straight and shoot often GF

No guns today but did snag 600 rounds of 9mm off the shelf at a local big box today, so that was nice. Also just found out the wife got a nice year end bonus check today at work. Trying to talk her into letting me take a little of that to go gun shopping. We will see how that goes though, I tend to think not well....... Dull
