U.N.small arms treaty

Seems the UN is back at it again and this time it will not be a "treaty' that must be ratified by Congress. This could get real ugly depending on what they decide to do. Looks like there may be action on this on Monday 27 Aug.

Scalia being open to gun control is like the Packer's not selling out Lambeau! It just doesn't happen. I don't know what to think of his comments at this time. Most of the 25 min interview he was the consummate conservative that Reagan thought he would be when he was appointed. But the one or two sentences he uttered about gun control kind of makes you do a what the heck! Time will tell.

Remember, elections have consequences......

This will likely be voted on again, but their tact is evolving towards a non-treaty resolution.

This is a far more pressing matter. If one or two more Liberal judges are seated in the SCOTUS, we are hosed.

I personally believe gun owners would be better off becoming members of the NRA than donating money to politicians. The NRA will do more with a $30 membership than any politician could with $300. Reason...the NRA is a single issue PAC. They fight for gun rights and to uphold the 2nd amendment and they don't care if you are a republican, democrat, green party or an independent. They grade politicians based on the votes they cast with regard to gun rights and only gun rights. We can all be thankful that the NRA folks are there to fight the good fight against the anti-gun folks.

Dont underestimate the attempts at undermining the constitution. Doesnt really matter which side of the fence you are on with whatever issue you choose, the original document is being morphed into what they want it to be today.
