If you haven't already found enough releases, I do have 1 metal release and 5-6 ring clips I do not use. Let me know if you are interested in them.

I have to ask why you would want to use those as opposed to one of the releases on the market now? There is probably a reason that you can't find them anymore and that's that the newer releases are better and don't require all the parts that those do.

Wow, I grew up using those. If you have the barrels, you can probable find clip that will work at the hardware store, add a little shrink tube and your in business.

I was digging through some old.gear.and.founds some.clips and the metal.release too.

I used these for years and they worked pretty good. I can't find them anymore either and the white ring gets brittle after awhile and breaks. I have some of the barrels but no rings left.

pretty sure i can 2 or 3 of those. I will take a look.
