Planer boards my friend. On one side put the 2 color farthest away from the boat and then the 4 inside of that.
Other side of the boat put the 3 color farthest away with the 5 inside of that. I usually like to have 3 colors of difference between cores to keep them away from each other depth wise but we can a 2 outside of a 3.5 last night with no problems.
Just keep a good distance between boards and your fine.
No leadcore on dipseys. Yes, to a 2 color off the downrigger if you want.
When you reset a line, run it right out the back of the boat...slowly....let put the board on and run it straight back way behind everything else then engage the reel and it will swing way around everything else, no risk of tangles.
Once its running outside say your 5 color, then reel it up 100 feet so there somewhat in line.
Fill those spools behind the core, you can really let out alot of line and spread the lines out if your fishing away from the crowd.
