Does anyone know of any food pantries or soup kitchens that you can donate your wild game to in the Milwaukee area? My son really wants to try goose hunting this year, but no matter how I cook those things they taste like crap! And I refuse to go if the meat goes to waste. Any help would be appreciated.

You think the needy want to eat goose? LOL! Safe it up and make hot sticks or sausage out of it and it tastes fine.

Good way to have goose. Breast and skin your birds. 2 breasts, 2 cans mushrooms, 4 sticks celery, 1 green pepper, one can cream of mushroom soup, milk. Cut goose into quarter in chunks, slice celery & pepper into chunks. Put all ingredients into crock pot. Fill half of the empty can of soup with milk add to pot. Salt & pepper to taste. Serve over egg noodles. You will never know its goose. Side note: make sure to get as much blood off of your goose breasts. Wash them good. Soak them in salt water over night. I saw a post in the general discussion forum as well. Check it out.
