I will solve all cold foot problems right now. Go to fleet and pick out the military issue Micky Mouse boots. I have had mine 2 years, wear them during all seasons from fall to deep winter to spring. Ice fish with these on and maybe a longer pair of socks, or wool. My feet have never once gotten cold, even after having them on the ice all day. I used to bring the insole ones with as back up in case my feet did get cold, but I never once opened a pair and now I don't even bring them with me. Ask yourself how much would you pay to get a pair of boots that stayed dry and never let your feet get cold.... Well these are like $50 bucks at Fleet and are one of the best investments I have made for the outdoors. Seriously folks, I don't make anything promoting them, they are just that nice.
Not sure about these thermacell's,
But I know these ArcticShield® Boot Insulators work very well. Look them up at Cabella's. I believe they sell two different brands, this one is $44.99. Seen them on sale, once and awhile too.
I've also seen some at Fleet/Farm.
One of the best purchases for hunting I've made!
Usually put them on after I get on stand. If your in a standard type of hanging tree stand, you might want to put them on before you get into the stand. Kinda cumbersome putting them on when your all suited up..
Buy a size larger then what they recommend for your boot size.
No B.S., they work great! ( mainly for still hunting. )I've walked out in them, but I don't do that to often.
Interesting look a little pricey at about $100.00 from what I see, interested in durability. I've been using the full foot size foot warmers just like the hand warmers but go from toe to heel. They are about 2.95 a pair, I've had really good luck with those when I know I'm going to be sitting all day.
good luck
GF
Just googled them - I'd be interested in any reviews too. My youngest always gets cold feet snowmobiling and ice fishing.
