Just got back from 2 1/2 days of fishing for stripers on Lake Cumberland KY.Absolutely a beautiful giant lake.Fishing was slow .The few fish that were caught were caught in 35 to 50 feet of water in the larger creek beds on the central to south end of the lake.Seems like calm water was a factor.Weather was colder than normal at 40 high to 20 lows.Stayed at Grider hill at the stone lodge and had a suite ---nice.Dry county so byob.6 stripers all around 25 inches.

Dam repair was finished over this past spring.Water is up compared to last few years but still not full height. This winter she should finish filling up so next year should be incredible.

Is the lake still down? Did they get the dam fixed yet? We were down there a few years ago the end of March, that is an awesome lake. we caught a bunch of spots and some small smallmouths under 18" and a few LM's. finished in 19th out of 130+ boats. Stan
