CB 11..I thought that was a pretty intelligent post...if someone were coming to my area to fish, and I were to tell them dark secrets, it sure wouldn't be on here Wink

wish them luck...out of my territory....

I was just up there on vacation with the fam for the 4th of July week. Surface temp was 85 on Big Saint. WOW. Where ever you go my advice would be to go fishing early morning. We went out around 4:30am. It is very busy up there this time of year. Good Luck. The Willow Res is a great place.

Mohawksin lake right in Tomahawk is a good fishery for bass, walleye, crappie, and musky.

My suggestion would be the Willow Reservoir. But, that is a big body of water and you may have a hard time finding fish if you're only going to be there a day or two. There is a lot of water to cover. I have no advice as I have only fished it for crappies in winter and spring.

It's a beautiful body of water that has, for the most part, been kept natural with very little development. If I were in your shoes and really wanted to catch fish, I'd probably look for a guide to get you started since it's so big. Or, if you're satisfied with beautiful scenery and a chance to maybe stumble onto some fish to boot, have at it by yourself. You can probably get some tips from the Willow Reservior report thread.

Bring a GPS, it can get a little confusing around the islands if you're not familiar with the flowage.
