Hey all.I'm new at this,so I hope I'm doing this the right way. This will probably sound pretty weird,but I am looking for a place to catch a sheep head from shore on the bago system.Up until yesterday I didn't know that properly handled drum were edible,and would like to try one.Any one have any idea where I could catch one. thanks in advance fore any suggestions. fuzzygrub57

Anyone know how much salt to add to say,a gallon of water,to soak the fillets in. Does this make them taste salty? I usually add garlic salt to the batter,should I not do this,or maybe add less? Thanks and tight lines to all!

they are excellent table fare. just take the back straps off and soak them in salt water over nite and then rinse and eat or rinse and freeze. deep fry in your fav breading or boil and dip in melted butter with wild rice and broccolli on the side. yummy

you can catch a ton at the docks in oshkosh at the end of bowen street i caught twenty three in one afternoon

Pick a place that you can fish from shore and have at it. Those fish eat ANYTHING! If you don't catch a sheephead, make sure that you post what you did because there are a lot of us that would love to know how not to catch a sheephead!
