I was fishing a night hatch last night and fire flies were everywhere. I see them every night and always wonder if trout will eat them. On my way back to the truck, I collected a handful, took them to the nearest bridge, and floated them down near feeding trout. No takers. Has anybody else experimented with these, or ever seen a fish rise on one at night?

I've tried the same thing Jared.... Both with trout and smallies. Same results. Maybe they dont taste very good or are toxic? Fish seem to know best.
