Looking to purchase new locator with GPS and just wondering if anyone is using this and what your opinions are on it.Also i knowthis one has the LED read out for clarity or would i be better off on getting the Elite 5 Combo with the 5" screen but not as good or clear of a display.Thanks for all your help and feedback.

I have the Elite5x Not sure what you mean by better clarity. I find that unit to be clear, bright and crisp with great response time. Can you clarify your concern? I use my elite 5x on both ice and in my boat.

i am also looking at the elite 4 combo for my smaller boat. does anyone troll with one? what did you like/dislike?

I have the elite 4 dsi combo and I like the gps a lot better than the dsi part. way more acurate speed than the huminbird I started with
